Hi, I'm Joy!

I enjoy creating artwork by taking bits and pieces from modern life and giving saturation to them. Colors are really important to me. When I think of the piece I want to create, my favorite part is trying to interpret what my mind sees.

I am also interested in representing marginalized communities, using cultural references and uplifting these communities. As I experiment with my work, the subject of illustrations varies along with it. But my work tends to take on similar optimistic, lighthearted tunes.
